Hello! I’m Rena! I am Rina!
We have started a new “Setouchi Sanpo Channel” this time!
The first video is from my trip to Kurashiki in Okayama. ☺️ It was a full day of enjoying local delicacies and sweets that I wanted to try, as well as experiencing the riverboat rushing ✨.

Start for Kurashiki Bikan Historical Area
Start at Kurashiki Station as soon as possible!
After a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Kurashiki Bikan Historical Area, one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Okayama.
I love the tasteful streets.
We will have lunch first, so
One street off the main street.
Taishotei, a lunch featuring Okayama specialties
Now it’s time to enter the store
When you pass through the curtain, the proprietress greets you with a smile.
It feels like a long-established business.
The menu features many items using Okayama’s specialty “mamakari”.
This time, I ordered the popular Bara Sushi.
What a surprise to learn that this is a Japanese heritage site!
expression of gratitude before meals
Let’s start with the sea eel, which I was curious about.
The fluffy and delicious flavor spreads throughout the body.
The next one is the first time I’ve ever seen it.
Delicious!
The sweetness of the vinegar complements the fish and goes well with rice.
On top of the rice
Other items such as shako (octopus), Spanish mackerel, shrimp and octopus
This is the Seto Inland Sea! This is the Seto Inland Sea!
I already love Okayama so much!
That was a delicious meal (said after meals)
Riverboat Experience
After filling your stomach
Activities in Kurashiki!
Tickets for the riverboat are only sold on the day of the event.
They leave every 9:30-30 minutes in the morning.
The number of passengers is limited to six.
It is recommended to buy tickets at the beginning of your sightseeing tour!
Get your ticket and finally board the ship!
The boats are visible from the tourist office
What a cute handsome size!
heave-ho!
I’m sure it will be fun with all the women who will be on the boat trip with us.
Departure progress~!
Once the boat started moving, the boatman’s Kurashiki talk exploded!
Buildings and bridges along this river.
They explain in detail about the history of Kurashiki.
It’s so beautiful and healing ♩
From the river.
It’s so nice to see a different cityscape than the one I was seeing from the sidewalk.
The boat moves slowly and easily
Our hearts are completely at peace… (laughter)
And the 20-minute boat ride was over in a flash.
Arrival at the boarding area
It was so much fun!
After leaving the riverboat, the next stop is a cafe
It is no exaggeration to say that I was most curious about the fruit parfait.
I feel light on my feet.
Fruit parfait at Parlor Fruits Komachi
Bamboo grove extends to the patio seating area.
Breezy ♩
Many desserts are made with fruits from Okayama Prefecture!
This time, we ordered the parfait, one of the most popular among them.
Vibrant fruits are all over the place!
See you then,
Strawberry and Pione soft serve together.
The juice is amazing!
Looks like juice, not parfait.
Banana and mango in a glass.
Each one is big.
And chocolate pudding, green tea pudding, and much more!
Happiness ♡♡♡
We are both very satisfied.
After leaving the store, the next one is
I decided to go looking for souvenirs from Kurashiki!
Walking around Kurashiki Denim Street
Kurashiki, Kojima, the birthplace of domestic jeans
We carry goods made of denim made there.
The store is divided into three sections: men’s, women’s and general merchandise.
They have about 1,000 items!
There were also some interesting accessories unique to Denim Street
They are all so cute, it’s hard to decide!
Not just the small stuff, of course.
You can also get a cool jacket ♩
A take-out corner is found in the back!
I was wondering about the meat buns with denim motifs.
I’m going to buy…
I wonder what it really tastes like.
Get~!
I can’t wait to eat it and go buy another one~!
After all, if you come to Okayama
I have to eat millet dumplings!
Purchased two dumplings!
Finally, I can eat what I bought~!
Oh! It’s a meat bun filled with meat.
I feel betrayed in a good way (laughs).
The colorful looking dumplings are cute.
Each one tastes different, interesting and delicious ♩
Sitting by the river
Enjoying the streets of Kurashiki
The local delicacies you eat are very tasty…
And we’re going out for a drink at the end of the trip.
Toast at the end of the trip at “Kurabia-tei
I can drink local sake! I was excited to go to the restaurant!
There is a semi-private room-like seating area where you can relax.
First, I decided to order a local beer…
KANPAI!
Kurashiki’s local beer, Sasa, tastes like…
Eh! Fruity and not beery!
It’s so easy to drink!
We’ll start with the bacon.
Mmmm, the aroma is good!
I couldn’t help but grin as I thought this would go well with beer.
The smokiness of the smoked fish and the freshness of the beer.
They bring out the best in each other.
Goggles ・・・・
Ask for other local beers!
Now, the second drink – ♩
Wow! This one is different from the beer I just had.
The elegant fragrance of the tasteful kurashiki…
Delicious…
The juicy Okayama jidori chicken is also excellent.
Convinced that there is nothing but delicious food in Okayama ♩
That was a delicious meal (said after meals)
